October 1st- Getting Back on Track

Hey Guys,

So today is October 1st! I love having the first day of every month be a fresh start.  I get back on track with working out, videos, cleaning etc.

Today started off like any other workday with Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal and Apple Cider for breakfast.  Some may say this is the perfect fall breakfast, however I can eat this every morning any time of the year!

Lunch was not the healthiest in the world.  I had a Rollo Cupcake from Sunflowers Bakery.  This is basically a chocolate cupcake with caramel filling with icing that had chocolate and caramel drizzle.  Omgosh this was filling and had me full until dinner time. :)

I completed my workout for the day. Which included October 1st calendar activities from Blogilates.  I have been following Blogilates on YouTube for the past 2 years on and off and definitely would recommend her channel if you want a fun way to stay in shape with some really motivational videos.
Towards the end of the night I had a pampered spa evening for myself.  I was able to paint my nails with a nail polish from nicole K and use a peel off face mask from Bosica.  This mask is great at clearing your skin and helping extract the impurities. However, I will warn you when it is time to peel of this mask, do so SLOWLY.  You need to be very careful when removing this mask from your skin and sensitive areas or it can irritate the skin.

To end the night I was able to upload on my LizzieLovesLife YouTube channel my Project Pan or Project Use it Up September Update and October goals.  Check out the video to see what products I was able to use up and what products I will be working on during the month of October.

First week of Fall Recap

Hey Guys!

The past week has been super hectic and kinda dreary hear in Charlotte, NC.  It has been extremely grey and rainy the past week and is not the best weather to be doing things outside but in fact a great snuggling movie/tv watching week.

On the plus side my family did come up from Georgia to visit for this past weekend! I love when my family comes down.  We first went out to Hickory Tavern where I always love their build your own salads.  With these salads you can add 6 toppings to any type of salad you would like and its to die for! My family also brought their dog Sookie who my puppy Copper loves.  These two dogs love eachother so much it is adorable.  They play extremely rough but can be so adorable at times to (as shown below).

The following day we went to the movies where we saw The Scorch Trials. Now if you have read the Maze Runner book series, WARNING this is nothing to do with the 2nd book. I was utterly confused with where the movie was going and how they were changing many plots and points in this 2nd book.  So my advice to yall that have read the book before seeing this movie: Come to the movie with an open mind thinking it is not the Scorch Trials at all but Maze Runner 2.  It will save you being confused and questioning every scene in the movie :)

For dinner I made The Forgotten Jambalaya!  This is an amazing recipe that I have made a couple of times now.  Next time I make it I will make a blog post on the recipe!

Sunday, Copper and I took it easy while Isaac went to work. Copper even had a bath :) He really does love at the end of a bath when it is time to dry off. :) Silly puppy.

Due to the gloomy weather I was also able to catch up on some YouTube videos on my LizzieLovesLife channel.

If you have not checked it out. I uploaded my finale of my Finish 5 by Fall Project Pan.  This is a project where I picked 5 (i mean 7) products from my makeup collection and worked on trying to use them up before September 23rd the first day of fall.  Click below to see how i did!

I also was able to post an update on my Finish 16 by 2016 project pan that I created last month.  These are 16 products that I want to use up before 2016.

Again, I love fall and am so excited to finally start wearing sweaters and boots again.  Speaking of fall!  I am currently undefeated on both of my fantasy football leagues.  I plan on posting a picture each Tuesday on my weekly matchups. :)  I'm holding on to hope that not more of my players get injured like Tony Romo :(

Whelp, I hope you have a great day. Let me know what yall have been up to for the first week of fall! Have you got your first PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte)?

Happy Sunday!

Hello Again World!

I have not wrote in this blog in forever!  If you guys are up-to-date I have worked really hard and spent alot of time working on my YouTube account: LizzieLovesLife.  I have decided to get back into the world of blogging and try and connect these two platforms.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-XQ8KnmqsXBS4lBo4Na-fw

Today has been a relaxing day full of FOOTBALL!

It all started with sleeping in on this amazing Sunday morning.  Can you believe it?!? I don't know about ya'll but on the weekends I live for at least one day where I can just sleep until my little heart desires.  What is great is our little miniature goldendoodle Copper loves these as well.  So, this morning my husband, puppy and I slept in until about 9am. :)

When we finally decided to get up for the day, I made eggs for breakfast.  For the hubby, I just made scrambled eggs with Texas Pete (his favorite) and he had leftover Pull-Apart.  I on the other hand decided to make a "healthy" breakfast (maybe too healthy for breakfast).  I made a egg white scramble that had pepper jack cheese and broccoli.  This seemed like a great idea cheese-broccoli- and eggs how could this be bad.  Well, broccoli is not exactly the first thing your body expects to eat in the morning.  While this dish was good i would have it as a side dish for dinner or lunch not as my breakfast haha.  But with this i had a slice of Arnold's Oat nut bread and some jelly. YUM!

My husband and I ventured out today and while he got his hair cut at Great Clips I wondered into Harris Teeter.  I picked up a couple of random things for this week and in future blog posts will have more pictures.

I also had a chance to film and upload my new youtube video:  Get Ready with Me- Project Pan Style Tutorial.  This is a video where I give you a step by step tutorial on how I have been getting ready lately with the products that I am trying to use up in my Finish 5 by Fall and Finish 16 by 2016 project pans.

Now time for some football. We are  rooting on our own fantasy football players as well a the CAROLINA PANTHERS!

What are you up to today?
